Singapore Airlines introduced new suites inside A380

Last week, Singapore Airlines celebrated 10 years since the first Airbus A380 commercial flight, today the airline has announced a new cabin configuration onboard its super wide-bodies.

The airline’s total investment will be $850 million for Airbus A380 fleet. In particular every aircraft will now feature six luxury suites, available for booking in one month.  Imagine a hotel at 10 000 meters. Singapore Airlines offers suites «for a distinguished few» with two pillows, a cotton duvet for a bed. The beds in the first row of suites of each aisle can be connected so two passengers can sleep side by side, just like home. Passengers will also receive slippers, socks and eyeshades. The luxury heaven can be found on the upper deck of the flying giant.

There will also be designated storages for face moisturizers, body lotions and also your expensive jewelry, watches and gadgets to be stored not to interrupt your sleep. Each suite has an ergonomic leather chair to sit during take-off and landing operated by electronic control under your fingers. The bed can also be stowed completely. Tired of looking at the clouds outside? Enjoy a 32-inch HD monitor with movies, tv-channels and more.

And the top-level option for everyone frequent flying: two lavatories for six passengers. Think about it when queueing in the back of the economy class cabin next time you fly.

The airline, which was named as Best Airline in Asia at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2017, added: ‘The exclusivity of the suites cabin is further accentuated by its two stylishly-furnished lavatories, one of which has a sit-down vanity counter.’
